- The color of these wonderful flawless, frosted pieces of seaglass from California are shades of Purple Lilac and Violet and measure in the area of 5/8" in length and are designer wrapped and crafted in Silver wire! The seaglass wrap & ring is then dipped in liquid Silver to give it a lustrous shine and stunning looks and each ring is "One of a Kind" and Simply Beautiful!!
ORIGIN: This Awesome seaglass color mostly started out as clear bottles and could be dated between 1880 and 1915. The addition of "Maganese" at this time slowly turned the clear glass into shades of Purple which was helped by the exposure to sunlight. the longer the exposure the more Purple the glass became!
